Amaroo is our foundation mare and is the dam of five foals including PrEM Benchmark Rock On the Australian Premium mare 2008 i.e.The best 3 year old mare classified in Australia. Amaroo’s sire is the Hanoverian stallion Anamour who was imported to New Zealand from Germany.

To the right she is shown with Benchmark Rock On as a foal. All of her foals have been extremely attractive and the progeny that are old enough to be ridden have all had their mother’s fantastic rideability.

Amaroo has just produced a filly foal (pictured below) by the stallion Sir Donnerhall and we could not be happier with this foal. Sir Donnerhall is producing foals which are upstanding and with 3 good paces.

On the 2010 Hanoverian Tour Dr Ludwig Christmann awarded the family of Amaroo "Elite Family Status". The family consisted of Amaroo and her 2 daughters Pr EM Benchmark Rock On/Rotspon and her 2009 filly foal Benchmark Seventeenth Doll. This award in Germany is regarded as the pinnacle of breeding, a great tribute to a quality mare that produces quality foals.
